Dark Parisian Skies
To say the weather was changeable during the wedding weekend of Erin & Brendan would be an understatement. Mostly grey moody skies and rain with the very occasional break in the clouds. That being said, the rather wet weather certainly didn’t put a dampener on the celebrations.
Kicking things off on Friday evening with a boat cruise through the city, a wonderful way to introduce guests to the beauty of Paris. The dark, moody skies adding to that beauty.
Wedding day and the weather was much the same. Erin & Brendans preference was for an outdoor ceremony and the great team at the venue (Maison Des Polytechniciens) did their upmost to make that happen, getting everything set up outside, however about 30 minutes before the ceremony was about to take place the skies darkened and the rain began to pour. Plan B was put into place and within no time everything was set up in the marquee. All this made absolutely zero difference to a truly wonderful celebration that I was lucky to be part of.
Congratulations Erin & Brendan, rain or shine your weekend was perfect!
