Laura & Marc — A Stylish Wedding Weekend in Paris, France
Paris carried an extra note of magic for Laura and Marc’s celebration — a weekend full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments framed by the city’s timeless elegance. Their wedding was not just a ceremony, but a joyful gathering that blended personal style, cherished traditions, and authentic Parisian charm, all captured against some of the city’s most elegant settings.
From Proposal to Parisian Wedding Dream
Years before their wedding day, Marc whisked Laura to Paris for a romantic getaway. On the rooftop of the Alfred Sommier Hotel, where they stayed, he proposed — a moment that inspired the setting of their future wedding. So it felt poetic and meaningful to return to the same city for the start of their married life. Two years later, surrounded by their closest friends and family, the weekend celebration finally arrived.
A Chic Welcome Under Parisian Skies
The festivities began the night before the wedding with a stylish welcome gathering in the gardens of the Alfred Sommier Hotel. Champagne cocktails, mellow music spun by a DJ, and the soft glow of sunset set a relaxed yet elegant tone as guests arrived from near and far. After the initial congratulations and laughter, Laura and Marc slipped away for a few portraits on the very rooftop where it all began — an intimate prelude to the day ahead.

Morning Preparations & Classic Arrival
The morning of the wedding was filled with thoughtful energy. At the hotel, both Laura and Marc prepared with quiet joy, anticipation building as the day unfolded. Awaiting them outside was an elegant 1980s Porsche 911 — not just transportation, but a statement: classic, refined, and perfectly suited to a Paris wedding with character.
A Ceremony of Grandeur at Saint-Augustin
Their ceremony was held at the magnificent Saint-Augustin Church in Paris — a stunning example of 19th-century ecclesiastical architecture, blending Gothic, Romanesque, and Byzantine elements that give the space a sense of history and scale. As Laura and Marc stood before their loved ones, the grandeur of Parisian heritage mirrored the deep significance of their vows.
Portraits Through the Heart of the City
Immediately after the ceremony, we hopped into the classic Porsche for a breezy ride through Paris to Palais-Royal, where elegant gardens and symmetrical arcades provided a romantic backdrop for portraits of the newlyweds. The location offered balance — a mix of grandeur and intimacy perfectly reflecting the style of their celebration.
Cocktails, Cake & Sunset Delights
Returning to the Alfred Sommier Hotel, guests gathered again for afternoon cocktails, joyful conversation, and a uniquely delicious strawberry wedding cake that awaited their arrival. As the day moved toward evening, the warm French light made the garden feel like a secret celebration under soft skies — rustic elegance paired with Parisian refinement.
Candlelit Dinner & Dancing Through the Night
As twilight fell, a beautifully curated French dinner with wine was served al fresco in the garden. The atmosphere was both relaxed and refined — under soft lighting, surrounded by laughter and beautiful details. The opening dance in candlelight was a highlight, blending romance with clear joy, and soon the party moved inside. Laura changed into her evening dress, and with music rising and spirits high, everyone danced late into the night — a perfect celebration that felt both personal and full of life.
