A pre-wedding photoshoot followed by a stylish wedding at the stunning Shangri-La, Paris, France
Booking a pre-wedding photoshoot in Paris is one of the most rewarding decisions couples can make before their wedding day — especially when the city itself becomes part of your story.
Why Pre-Wedding Sessions Matter
Pre-wedding sessions do more than just fill an album with beautiful photos. They help you feel truly comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Meeting in person — whether for a photoshoot or a video call — lets us build trust, understand how you move as a couple, and find your best moments together. That ease of connection means you feel relaxed and present on the wedding day itself, which shows beautifully in your images.
Many couples also find that pre-wedding portraits become a meaningful part of their story — whether included in the main album, featured in a wedding book, or shared with family and friends. It’s also a perfect opportunity to trial hair and makeup before the busy pace of your wedding day.
Brianna & Thomas saw the value in all of the above and booked me for a two-hour morning photoshoot whilst they were over in Paris during the summer, a few months before their actual wedding day. We met at the Eiffel Tower, exploring a quiet little backstreet offering perfect views of the tower itself before wandering down to the river seine for a few photos then grabbing a cab to take us to the Louvre. From there we had a nice stroll through the majestic courtyards to the Palais-Royal, finally wrapping things up with croissant and coffee on a café terrace - so French!
A Morning in Paris With Brianna & Thomas
For Brianna and Thomas, we started our summer session before their big day with a morning shoot around some of Paris’s most evocative places. We began near the Eiffel Tower, wandering through quiet backstreets that offered unobstructed views of the iconic silhouette, before continuing along the banks of the Seine. After a short cab ride, we explored the elegant courtyards of the Louvre and the serene gardens of the Palais-Royal — a very Parisian way to begin the day.
We even paused for croissants and coffee, capturing candid moments that felt both relaxed and full of life — because these are days you’ll want to remember in every detail.
The Wedding Day at the Shangri-La Paris
Fast forward to late October, and it was time for the wedding itself — a stylish celebration at one of Paris’s most iconic luxury venues, the Shangri-La Paris. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Brianna and Thomas celebrated throughout the hotel: from getting ready in its elegant interiors to the ceremony, reception, and evening festivities. This landmark venue, with its blend of Parisian grandeur and refined charm, provided a breathtaking backdrop for every moment.
