From Wedding Bells to Family Smiles — Family Photography in Paris

In 2019, I had the joy of capturing Elizabeth and Spencer’s wedding in France — a beautiful celebration of love and connection.

Fast-forward to 2025, and I was delighted to reunite with them in Paris once again — this time as a family of three, welcoming their young son, Asher, into the frame. It’s a rare privilege to document life’s evolving chapters for couples I’ve previously photographed, and this session in the city of light was truly special.

Paris is one of those cities that feels made for family photography. From quiet early-morning streets to playful moments along the Seine, each corner of the city offers a backdrop that enhances genuine connection without overpowering it. The result was a series of images that feel warm, natural, and timeless — precisely the kind of memories families return to again and again.

What I love most about family sessions like this is how they reflect real life: laughter, movement, quiet pauses, and genuine moments of togetherness. Whether it’s a father’s gentle hold, a mother’s shared smile with her child, or a spontaneous laugh in a sunlit street, these are the images that become treasured family heirlooms.

If you’re planning a visit to Paris and would like to capture your own family memories — whether it’s your first trip together or a milestone moment — I’d love to hear your dates and help you plan a session that feels effortless and reflective of your story.

Why Family Photography in Paris Works So Well

Paris isn’t just a destination — it’s an experience. The city’s soft morning light, elegant streets, and playful corners make it a uniquely beautiful place to document family life in a way that feels authentic and poetic. Each session becomes not just a collection of photos, but a visual narrative of your time in the city.

Planning Your Family Session in Paris

When planning a family photoshoot here, I pay close attention to:

  • Light and timing (best locations at the right time of day)

  • Comfortable, natural pacing for everyone

  • Guiding moments without staging them

  • Keeping each session fun and relaxed for children of all ages

Whether you’re visiting Paris for the first time or returning to a city you love, a family portrait session here can be one of the most meaningful souvenirs you take home.
