Mariam and Chris’s wedding was a beautiful celebration that brought me from Paris all the way to the rolling hills of West Virginia—a journey that felt especially meaningful, having first photographed them in Paris two years ago. Reuniting with them for their wedding weekend was such a joy, and it was a privilege to capture the next chapter of their story.

The weekend began with a relaxed pre-wedding shoot in the peaceful gardens of Waterperry Farm, where Mariam and Chris shared quiet moments among blooming flowers and tall grasses. It was the perfect way to ease into the festivities and create a little space for them to soak in what was to come.

The wedding day itself unfolded with timeless charm. Mariam and Chris got ready at the historic Mayhurst Estate, a location full of character that gave a sense of old-world romance to the morning. From there, we made our way to Blossom Ridge Farm for the ceremony—an open-air space surrounded by nature, filled with laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt vows. As the sun dipped low, the celebration kicked into full swing with an evening party under the stars. Every part of the day felt deeply personal and beautifully laid-back, and it was an honor to document it all. Their gallery is filled with warmth, connection, and joy, just like the couple themselves.
