How to plan a perfect proposal in Paris
Planning on proposing in Paris and looking for a proposal photographer to capture the moment and create some beautiful Paris engagement photos at the same time?
There are two ways to have a photographer capture your proposal in Paris. The first is for the photographer to capture the proposal in secret, the second being to organize a photoshoot and arrange the actual proposal at taking place at some point during the photoshoot.
Both options have pros and cons, so you’ll need to decide what would work best for you, however, the second option gives your photographer much more control over the situation, hopefully leading to better photos and helping keep the risk of a gang of tourists crashing the crucial moment to a minimum.

Ben had been looking for the perfect time and place to propose to Gigi. With a winter trip to Paris planned he thought a photoshoot in the French capital was the perfect opportunity to bring everything together.
Ben took my advice on a mid-afternoon shoot to avoid the uncomfortably cold early mornings at this time of year. Couples are often concerned that a photoshoot at any other time than early morning will result in their beautiful photos being ruined by random strangers and tourists in the background. I think the set of images below proves that clean, elegant, tourist-free photos are possible at other times during the day than sunrise.
Rather than a famous Paris monument, Ben preferred a more subtle side of the city as the backdrop for the proposal. We settled on one of my favourite locations, the beautiful Palais-Royal with a Brasserie forming the backdrop. Beautiful light, no random strangers, and a perfect moment.
