Looking for a pre-wedding photographer in Paris so you return home to the most beautiful set of photographs of you in the French capital?

A pre-wedding photoshoot…in Paris, it’s possibly one of the best additions to the actual wedding photos you can make.

Here are 6 reasons why:

1: You and your partner photographed in the world’s most romantic city makes for a beautiful addition to your wedding story.

Strolling narrow, cobbled streets hand in hand, a kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower, coffee and croissants on a café terrace. Paris makes for the perfect backdrop for a beautiful series of photos capturing this important time in your lives as a couple.

2: Your pre-wedding photos are perfect for stationary.

Think invites and thank you cards, also imagine what a wonderful touch having hanging prints or a slideshow at your wedding reception would be. Prints of course having the added bonus that you can take them with you once the weddings over - perfect artwork for your home!

3: If your wedding is in France it’s the ideal opportunity to trial hair and makeup.

Are you struggling to make a decision on a couple of different hair-styles? A daring new look on the make-up? A trial with your beauty artists can help you make a final decision and a pre-wedding photoshoot is the ideal opportunity to test out how your potential wedding day look comes out in the photographs.

4: It lets you get to know your photographer.

Also, your photographer gets to know you. A pre-wedding photoshoot helps establish a level of comfort and trust on both sides. When the wedding day itself arrives, having a photographer around won’t feel strange, in-fact you’ll probably find yourself relieved in knowing that a photoshoot can actually be fun. One thing I often hear is that the photoshoot was way easier as well as way more fun than the couple had imagined.

5: Creating a series of photos in a different location to your wedding day.

On the day of your actual wedding you probably wont have so much time to put aside for a portrait session. Enjoying your day, the champagne and mingling with friends and family should be highest on your list of priorities. The day of your wedding will pass by in a flash. Even if your wedding is actually in Paris getting from the venue location to somewhere you had in mind for portraits is probably going to limit you to a single location when you take into account travel time. Adding a pre-wedding shoot allows you to choose multiple locations that you simply wont have time fit in on the day itself. Looking for help regarding potential locations? I have a blog post regarding my favourites you can read here.

6: You’re investing in something that over the years will increase in sentimental value.

Imagine years down the road from now browsing through a series of photographs of you together, in Paris captured at your very best. The beautiful images and memories that come with them will become more precious over time and, along with your wedding photographs make a precious family heirloom to be passed onto your children.

Something outside of the French capital? Christina & Matt chose Nice on the French Riviera for their engagement shoot that you can check out here.

Convinced a Paris Pre-Wedding shoot is a great idea?
